Ready to try something different this New Year? It's a new day, new month, new week--so why not? A number of years ago I began using this journaling system called "Bullet Journaling." It's an amazingly efficient system that costs nothing but the few pennies or dollars you choose to put into purchasing a blank notebook.
One need not be a writer to use this--it can be used any way you would like, starting with a simple calendar. Use it as you "day-timer," in meetings, shopping lists, recipes, fitness journal--make it whatever you want it to be.
I like the graph-paper notebooks as described in the video below, but any notebook or composition book will do. The video provides a brief overview of the system, but you can get a full overview here.
When you are ready, get started with Bullet Journaling 101. Have Fun!

"The Bullet Journal is a customizable and forgiving organization system. It can be your to-do list, sketchbook, notebook, and diary, but most likely, it will be all of the above.
It will teach you to do more with less."

Somehow people reasoned that that if the gods were moving, they must be getting close to earth so they would lift their "prayers" or "wishes" (literally, "desires") whenever they saw the stars falling in hopes the gods would notice and grant a favorable answer. But how does one wish on falling star? Once you see it, it's gone before the wish or prayer can be made! The answer is simple: meteor shower. That's how to get your wish. Mrs. Ann Hodges had a wish fall right into her lap. Sort of. In 1954 Mrs. Hodges was sleeping on the couch when a 8 1/2 pound meteorite fell through her house and into her living room where it bounced off the radio and struck her left hip leaving her with a bruise. Not sure what she was wishing, but that's not how to do it. Epictetus hel...
